Even today, researchers and practitioners do not always agree on the best way to define resilience and bring it into practice with young people. This assignment is an opportunity to evaluate and argue the perspective on resilience you feel is best based on what you have learned so far.

Assignment 3: Case Study-Indian Horse Analysis
The impact of residential school system has had a profound impact on the Indigenous Peoples of Canada. This assignment is an opportunity for you to watch a movie and analyze the impact from a risk and resiliency perspective. You will use the Circle of Courage to analyze various perspectives related to healing and promoting resiliency in Indigenous communities.
Instructions
Watch the film, Indian Horse (2018). The film can be accessed free through the NorQuest Library Your instructor may choose to show the film in class. Check with your instructor for up-to-date information.
