Compare and contrast the trustee and instructed-delegate theories of representation. Provide examples that exemplify each of these theories. In addition, how do members of Congress serve their constituents? Do you expect members of Congress to serve their constituencies based on their view of representation? In other words, would a member of Congress who takes a trustee approach to serve their constituents differently than members act as instructed delegates?
