originality, as well as technical details like topic sentences, supporting evidence, thesis statement, etc. There are three components associated with this essay, noted below, to help students learn the research and writing process to complete their essay. The research annotated bibliography will be assessed to provide feedback on the quality and type of resources you are using, as well as citations. The bibliography will be graded and handed back to you, for your benefit in completing the essay draft. The essay draft will be handed in and marked, and I will note any errors you make. You will have this handed back with enough time to complete the revisions (fix the errors) before you submit your final essay. For the final essay, any technical (grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.) errors that were identified in the draft but not corrected for the final essay will receive double the marks deducted. So, it's in your best interests to complete the revisions thoroughly and accurately.
In this assignment, all of your writing skills will be tested. Your paper must include a works cited consisting of at least six (6) sources:
- two of your sources must be books
two of your sources must be from academic journals
- the remaining sources may be books, journal articles, TV programs, etc. However, you may use no more than ONE (1) website, and that website must be a credible one.
