To comprehensively apply your learning from this semester, you will compile and complete a post-graduation Spending Plan for yourself integrating the concepts and ideas discussed in class this semester.
STEP 1 | Download the spending plan form. Your tasks is to identify, with as much specificity as possible, post-graduation financial information for yourself. The information can come from your experience (i.e. typical spending habits), and information you can glean from sources (i.e. the listed resources, websites, friends/family). For each number input into the spreadsheet, you will include a brief sentence on where you got that information (for example, URL to the website, a sentence indicating it is your typical spending habit, or that you received the information from a family member, etc.). I have provided a website resource list below as you begin compiling your Spending Plan.
STEP 2 | Complete the assignment by responding to the Financial Spending Plan Reflection. You will download the reflection template and respond to each of the prompts included. The purpose of the final reflection is to both integrate course content (i.e. incorporate references to the course texts, readings, and lectures) as well as reflect on the process of compiling the spending plan.
STEP 3 | Upload BOTH the Spending Plan and Reflection to Canvas by the allotted time.
